Orson Francescone joins FFAIR as its latest investor

Today we welcome Orson Francescone as our latest investor.
Orson Francescone is currently Managing Director of FT Live and board director of TNW, the Dutch-based FT-backed technology media and events group. He is recognised for his experience in launching and growing events businesses within some of the world's largest media brands including Euromoney Institutional Investor, DMGT, Haymarket Media and since 2019 The Financial Times.
He brings his extensive industry expertise to FFAIR also as an investor in other media and events technology companies, most recently having joined a consortium of investors in the Series A round of the US-based event martech platform Vendelux.
Commenting about the investment, Francescone stated, “For over 20 years, I've had the pleasure of working within the breadth of the events ecosystem, collaborating with some of the world's leading brands who turn to conferences, exhibitions and trade shows as a growth driver of their businesses. One of the biggest challenges event organisers face is improving the event experience for their exhibitors, sponsors, and partners. It’s a constant challenge. When I saw FFAIR, I instantly knew this was a game-changer in terms of solving this persistent challenge. I’m looking forward to seeing how this transformative platform evolves. Having seen Adam over the years successfully developing and exciting previous event tech platforms which were crucial in driving growth in some of the businesses I ran I am incredibly excited to be backing his latest venture ”
