Maximising Sponsorship Revenue: Marketforce Live's Journey with FFAIR

Now in its second year of partnership with FFAIR, the Marketforce team is taking the next step in maximizing FFAIR’s functionality, with their sights set on growing their bottom line.

Joe O’Connor, Events and Digital Operations Manager at Marketforce, explains:

“When we first engaged with the FFAIR team, we were initially seeking to find a solution to our sponsorship management headaches. We needed technology that could help us build better internal processes to allow our event portfolio to grow efficiently. 

What we hadn’t anticipated was how effective the frictionless experience of FFAIR’s Shop functionality would be in helping us to upsell sponsorship add-ons. 

In the past, sponsors were required to manually submit a form to book an add-on, now the Shop’s single check-out experience has removed any barriers meaning there is less resistance in the process. As a result, we’re selling more than we have in the past - booking sponsorship add-ons right up until the event takes place such as filming packages. 

In our first year of using FFAIR, our focus was on improving the sponsor experience. Now that we’re familiar with the platform, we’ve set ourselves the goal of maximising the Shop functionality to offer more creative sponsorship packages - including catering, banners, filming packages, and seat drops - something we would not have considered before. Having FFAIR means that we’re able to offer our sponsors a wider range of more affordable opportunities without the need for an increase in manual administration or delivery. 

The ease with which MarketForce can reach the FFAIR team has been incredibly valuable. Whether to find solutions or walk through our challenges and how we can use FFAIR, their willingness to help and hand-holding during the onboarding process has made a massive difference in helping us become self-sufficient more quickly.
